Terms
Beta terms of use
OTTNOTE is provided as a free, best-effort service during beta. By using it, you agree to the following common-sense terms.
How notes are shared
Every OTTNOTE note is public by URL. Anyone with the link can read and edit the note unless you enable password protection. Don't share a note's URL with anyone you don't want editing it, and add a password for anything sensitive.
Use the service responsibly
- Don't use OTTNOTE to harass, defraud, or harm anyone.
- Don't store or share illegal content.
- Don't attempt to disrupt the service or other people's notes.
- Don't scrape, automate, or generate excessive traffic.
No guarantees during beta
The service may change, lose data, go offline, or be rate limited. We do our best, but you use OTTNOTE at your own risk. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot lose.
Removal
We may remove notes that violate these terms or applicable law. You can request removal via the contact page.
Changes
These terms may change while we're in beta. Continued use means you accept the latest version.
